The Reading and Pennsy engaged in years of spirited competition on routes to Jersey shore points. With their tracks running parallel for miles within easy sight of each other, they literally raced daily into Cape May. In 1933 they signed a truce, forming the jointly owned Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines in the same time period when both railroads were electrifying their commuter lines.

Our 1:48 Scale Interurbans are beautiful replicas of PRSL commuter trains, complete with fully furnished interiors, passenger figures, and overhead StreamLighting illumination. With dual motors in the powered unit, they also include operating metal trolley poles, operating head and marker lights, and digital sound.
